People of the world. I have an announcement to make. I am REDESIGNING. In a way, starting from fresh with a fresh new idea that I have never seen created. It’s all mine and I’m not sharing it yet! I just want to get you pumped up for the future.
I’ll have to admit, for a while there I was in a bit of a slump. Okay. A very large slump. I felt like I had fallen into a boring hole with my photography business and didn’t know if I was going to be able to climb back out. Nonetheless, God proved me wrong and inspired my fresh, new, passion filled idea. And it’s about to be born.
Ever felt like you were in a slump and couldn’t get out? Here are some good ways to spark the spark!
1. Know that YOU CAN DO IT. Hate to be “that one” that tells you that you rock, but you do. Don’t just mope around thinking this is all that your life is going to be. You’re meant to be GREATER!
2. Get motivated. Whenever I feel slump-ish I go into my hole of meaningless socialization. LONG naps. Short days. And snack food. Start with a small step and just clean a little. Get up earlier than normal. Eat healthy. Shower. Put some real clothes on. And spend some time relaxing. Maybe even telling God how you are feeling at the moment. He likes to help. You’ll be so surprised that taking the first step out of slumpy-ness is always the most rewarding. It helps you remind yourself that you CAN do something other than sit on your butt and wait for people to boss you around.
3. Drink some coffee. Very good coffee. Heck. Always makes ME feel better.
