David | Portrait Session

When I say this, please don’t think that I’m exaggerating.  I assure you, I’m most definitely not. David and I are completely, absolutely, positively, one-hundred percent opposites. It makes me laugh when I think about the first few months of our friendship when we honestly thought we were JUST alike. Well, you learn new things every day and every day I learn new ways that David and I are the complete opposite person in every way imaginable.

The only thing that remains the same with both of us are the absolute essentials. For example: A real love for Jesus. A real love for people. And a real stupid love for each other.

Most things I get excited about, David has to pretend to be interested in because we generally aren’t interested in the things that the other loves. One of those things, for him, being photography. SURPRISE. Homeboy hates everything about photography. Especially being IN images. So a few months ago I started jumping up and down, not figuratively, because I thought of having a shoot with him! I don’t think he particularly liked the idea, but he agreed for me.

We found out that it wasn’t as fun as I thought it would be and wasn’t as horrible as he thought it would be. He probably spent most of the time making fun of me in his head because I spent most of the time squealing.  I was pretty impressed with his “model face”. Although I learned that I am not so talented in men poses, or maybe I am just not good at getting in touch with my masculine side.

Any ways, here are our final favorites! Some of these just make my heart drop. Sigh. Love him.
