For those of you who haven’t heard our story, this is my brother, Jeremy, newborn nephew, Elijah, and sister-in-law, Brittany. But before she was that, she was my best friend. It was the 5th grade when we met and really kicked off our friendship sometime in middle school. We did everything together and likened our relationship to dating. haha. Seriously, we looked out for each other unlike anything I have ever seen for middle schoolers or high schoolers. We would, and still, always get categorized as a packaged deal; if you are hanging out with Tiffany, you are hanging out with Brittany, too. It wasn’t until our senior year of high school that Brittany and Jeremy started to notice each other. And awkwardly enough, they ended up dating, getting engaged three months later, and married shortly after! Now that it’s our way of life, it’s not awkward at all! And we can see perfectly that God planned it from the very beginning. Now they are going on their second year of marriage strong and just had their first baby boy, Elijah.
How does it feel to have someone you have always wished to be your sister actually become your sister? It feels amazing!!! And surreal at times. This little baby boy melts my heart to no end!! I filmed his birth story and will have that to share in a few weeks, but until then, here are his newborn photos!
