It has been killing me all week to save these for Thursday! Finally, what you have all been waiting for. The Valentine’s Day Best Friend mini session post. I promise to never promote anything with such a long name ever again.
As I said on my weekend wrap up post this week, I swear that Jesus created that beautiful weather just for me. Rain the day before. Rain the day after. Perfect on Friday!! It was a bit windy, but I ain’t complaining. I did fall into a bush because balloons were escaping, but other than that, not many problems with the wind!
I think what I loved most about these mini sessions is that I had all different types of best friends show up. No two best friends were the same. And it was incredible.
I had two best friends from high school, two sisters and their friend, a couple that has been married for 20 years (my parents), a 70 year old who is best friends with a 30 year old, and a 9, 7, and 5 year old best friends with the 70 year old.
Honestly, it was beautiful. I learned that best friendship just comes down to love. And obviously, love can be shown no matter what age, shape, size, ethnicity. As I was looking through these images, I became overwhelmed with the beauty of it all. To see so much joy come from such different relationships.
Valentine’s Day might not just be about romantic love. But just love. Between a mother and daughter, husband and wife, and best friends. And it’s always beautiful, and definitely worth celebrating.
Enjoy these as much as I did.
Walk this town with confidence, ladies ❤
