A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person. ~Mignon Mclaughlin
It’s been a wonderful beginning to our wedding season. David and I have been enjoying our sweet, hyper little 5 month old girl, Charlee Lynn, while traveling for weddings on the weekends. It’s had its challenges but it’s been a very sweet and fun time for us.
Last weekend we spent May the 4th with Megan and Joshua at one of the sweetest venues we know, Historic Jasmine Plantation. These two had a Harry Potter Themed wedding and, of course, brought their wands with them to celebrate the day. The gardens were in full bloom, the sun was shining, Megan was beautiful in her form-fitting gown and delicate headpiece. They couldn’t let their May the 4th wedding date go to waste so they exited through a celebration of light sabers. It was so fun and SO them. It was really the perfect day for them to become one in marriage, which is very lucky for us over here in Virginia where the weather will be sunny one minute and storming the next.
Megan and Joshua said their vows in the venue’s new chapel in the woods with their friends and family. We hope you enjoy these images from their beautiful garden wedding day.
